What wiring options are available?
Our hardwired tracker is supplied with a standard wiring harness. Cigarette lighter and OBD2 power harness options are also available for easier or temporary installs.
The OBD2 power harness is power only, so it is used to power the tracker rather than read vehicle diagnostic data.

Will I receive an alert if power is disconnected?
Yes. Our hardwired tracker supports voltage monitoring and power loss alerts, so you can be notified if a voltage drop or total power loss is detected.
This can help identify battery issues, tampering or disconnection from external power.
Does your hardwired tracker have a backup battery?
Yes. Our hardwired tracker includes a 300mAh internal backup battery.
The backup battery is designed to help keep the tracker online temporarily if it is disconnected from external power.
How often does your hardwired tracker update its location?
Our hardwired tracker updates every 30 seconds during movement, with additional records logged in the background when certain speed, distance and heading changes occur.
This provides more detailed trip history than a simple fixed interval update, including clearer movement through areas such as turns and roundabouts.
What happens if the vehicle drives outside mobile coverage?
Our hardwired tracker has internal memory that stores GPS records when it is outside cellular coverage.
Stored records are uploaded automatically once the tracker reconnects to the network.
How accurate is your hardwired tracker?
Our hardwired tracker is designed for high-precision tracking, with approximately 2m CEP positioning accuracy in ideal conditions.
Actual accuracy can vary depending on installation location, GPS signal, surrounding buildings, vehicle placement, environmental conditions and other factors.
