Do your GPS trackers need professional installation?
Only our Hardwired tracker usually requires professional installation.

What happens if a tracker goes outside mobile coverage?
BlackOwl trackers include internal memory that stores GPS records when mobile coverage is unavailable.
Once the tracker reconnects to the network, stored records are uploaded automatically so your trip or asset history can catch up.

How accurate are BlackOwl GPS trackers?
All BlackOwl GPS tracker models are generally accurate to around 2 metres when they have clear GPS reception.
Accuracy can still vary around tall buildings, trees, underground car parks, heavy shielding or poor tracker placement.
What is included in the yearly subscription?
The annual subscription covers the SIM card, tracking platform access, alerts, software access, tracking history storage and operating costs.
Can businesses lease GPS trackers instead of buying upfront?
Yes. Eligible Australian businesses can use our business lease option to avoid upfront hardware costs.
The lease includes hardware, SIM, alerts, software, operating costs, ongoing warranty, local support and future hardware upgrades, with a minimum 36 month term.
